This is a translation of the statutory model withdrawal notice pursuant to Article 246a Section 1 (2) sentence 2 EGBGB in conjunction with Annex 1 to the EGBGB, provided for ease of understanding. The German original is legally binding; see Gesetze im Internet – Annex 1 to the EGBGB (German).
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform me,

by means of a clear statement sent by e-mail informing me of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the enclosed sample withdrawal form for this purpose, although this is not mandatory. You may also declare your withdrawal informally by e-mail to contact@empathy-to-life.net.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
If you withdraw from this contract, I will reimburse all payments I have received from you without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which I receive notice of your withdrawal.
For this repayment, I will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no event will you be charged any fees for this repayment.
If you have requested that the service should begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay me a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided up to the point at which you notify me of your withdrawal, compared with the full scope of services provided for in the contract.
